Pastoral Care Appeal (Chaplaincy Appeal)
The Pastoral Care Appeal 2023 (Previously known as Chaplaincy Appeal) is held on Chaplaincy Sunday (12 February 2023) in parishes across the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
This appeal is conducted for the purpose of supporting the vital work of our Catholic chaplains. The Catholic chaplains support thousands of Victorians every year in hospitals, prisons and youth justice centres.
Our chaplains provide a listening ear, a compassionate presence, along with assistance to cope with emotional pain and loneliness. Your generosity and support enable our chaplains to continue to be messengers of God’s mercy, love and compassion. Thank you for supporting the Pastoral Care Appeal.
