Who benefits from the Giving Tree Appeal?
CatholicCare Victoria’s vision is for a stronger, more inclusive society - where everyone can reach their potential and live life to the full.
Each year we support over 25,000 people across Victoria. The Giving Tree Appeal supports the clients and programs of CatholicCare. We deliver services throughout Victoria.
This year we aim to distribute 500 food hampers to the most vulnerable individuals and families in our communities. The funds raised beyond the need for hampers will enable CatholicCare Victoria to continue providing counselling and mental health programs, employment help, affordable housing, support for separating families, refugee and asylum seeker help, specialised support for children and teens, pastoral care, crisis help, homelessness and advocacy support, and a variety of courses helping to strengthen relationships and wellbeing.

How do we donate offline donations to our fundraising page?
If you receive cash donations and not a gift directly to your online fundraising page you can:
- Send a Cheque to CatholicCare Victoria and we can upload the donation amount to your page.
Please send your cheque to CatholicCare Victoria, Fundraising Team, PO BOX 196, East Melbourne, VIC 8002 - Make a Direct Deposit: If you would like to make a donation via direct deposit to the CatholicCare Victoria Bank Account, please contact the CatholicCare Fundraising Team at fundraising@ccam.org.au or call (03) 9287 5513. Once the deposit has cleared our account, we can add this donation to your fundraising page total.
What’s included in the hampers?
Each of the Giving Tree Hampers will contain non-perishable food along with Christmas treats.
When are the clients receiving the hampers?
We will be distributing the hampers to recipients in the week before Christmas. Keep an eye out on our social media for updates on our packing and distribution.
