Sunday Appeal

Everyone needs support when life gets challenging. Can you help someone in our community, facing their problems alone?

Sunday Appeal

Each year we help over 11,000 Victorians by strengthening relationships, increasing resilience and improving quality of life.

Support is crucial during ‘the big times’ in life. When a young couple is bringing a new baby home, when a family is experiencing a crisis, when a young person is struggling with addiction, or parents are worried about their child.

At CatholicCare, we see multiple challenges present in the one family, and those challenges are often at risk of being passed down through generations.

With your support, our services can reach people at all stages of life - and build their sense of belonging along the way.

There is a sense of security in knowing that you truly belong; that your family and community will support you and be there for you in times of need.

During our annual Sunday Appeal, we ask you to join us in reaching out, and giving that same sense of belonging and security to others.

Sharing grief and joy with a hug, patting each other on the back after a job well done, a welcoming smile and greeting – these are all common experiences of belonging, and what we aim to put within reach of everyone we support.

Together, we can break down the barriers to social inclusion and build a sense of belonging for everyone. And with CatholicCare’s services, no one needs to journey through life’s challenges alone.

Our God is not a God of scarcity, but of abundance. Please join that joyful, abundant God to make a difference in the lives of people who need to know they belong.
