CatholicCare Victoria

We’re making changes to our Emergency Relief service

The cost-of-living crisis is having a significant impact on our community.

Our goal is to support as many people as possible through our CCV Emergency Relief service, who are struggling to afford basic necessities such as food, utilities and a place to call home.

To increase the number of people we can support, and minimise wait times, we are reducing our Emergency Relief service phone line hours to 9:30am – 11:30am on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

This will provide additional time on Thursdays and Fridays for appointment booking availability, meaning more appointments will be available for our community to access financial aid.

This change to our service will take place as of Monday 26th February 2024.
