Chanduru joined our Geelong Settle Well program while he was studying at North Geelong Secondary College.
In June 2022, Chanduru shared his story with us - from his journey from India to his goals and dreams in Australia.
In partnership with North Geelong Secondary College, our Settle Well program gave Chanduru support to build confidence and leadership skills for a brighter future, and to find employment and further education opportunities.
We are now proud to announce that Chanduru is this year’s recipient of the Deakin Sanctuary Scholarships for Asylum Seekers! Chanduru started his Bachelor of Science at Deakin last month, and we’re so excited for him.
