CatholicCare Victoria is committed to being a Child Safe organisation.
We are committed to ensuring the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all who use our services. We particularly seek to create conditions that reduce the likelihood of harm to children.
We welcome all children and young people, including First Nations people, those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, faiths and spiritualities; people with disabilities; people from LGBTIQA+ communities; people of all ages; those with lived experience or caring responsibilities; and those impacted by social and financial disadvantage.
CatholicCare Victoria is committed to providing a culturally safe environment for all children and young people. Especially the children and young people from First Nations communities.
We have zero tolerance of all forms of abuse and we will only partner with similarly committed organisations.
We actively support people’s rights and have internal systems and processes to ensure children, young people and vulnerable others are seen, heard, believed and responded to. We take all concerns and any disclosures of abuse seriously, whatever their origin.
