The joint Centacare/CEO “Family Week” program also provides students and teachers with the opportunity to contribute to the work of Centacare through organised fund raising activities. These activities give students a better understanding of the challenges faced by others in their community and allows them to “get involved”. The CEO also provides funding and support for drug and alcohol education programs that are available to schools, health/welfare and community centres through Centacare’s Mary of the Cross Centre.
