A run for refugees

On Sunday over 30 supporters of CatholicCare did something amazing! They helped refugees navigate their way to a better future, by participating in a 'Run for Refugees', as part of Run Melbourne.

'Team CatholicCare' walkers and runners were joined by family, friends and colleagues for a fun filled day to raise awareness and support for our Refugee Settlement Program. And together, they raised almost $7,000!

Special mention goes to St Peter's Catholic Primary School in South West Sunshine, who raised $1,074, and our top three fundraisers; Kunthavi Sribalan ($1,000), Adam Chetcuti ($720) and Leanne McKenner ($570).

All donations will be used to meet the growing needs of vulnerable refugees; funding services that help them to settle, heal and belong.

We can't thank our supporters enough for giving their time and energy to help others.
