Job Readiness Program

Employment support for refugees & migrants

For refugees and migrants, finding a job can be a challenging obstacle to good settlement.

Language difficulties, lack of recognition of prior qualifications and experiences, and unfamiliarity of Australian workplace culture can create barriers for many who are hoping to build a new life in Australia.

A key focus of this program is partnering with jobactive organisations, employment agencies, training organisations and potential employers, to source jobs and training opportunities for jobseekers.
